Part of why I decided to write a blog is that when I first moved into the neighborhood 4 years ago, I really didn't know where to get anything. I didn't know where to get rice vinegar, or fresh beets, or a haircut, or an eye exam. You get the gist. So part of my aim is to provide my experiences for others so they have a bit of guidance and support local business while I'm at it.
